My CD Journey (Part 15) - Small steps towards perfecting Francesca

Sorry to all my visitors for my perpetually quiet blog. I do really want to apologise for not blogging much. Not that I got no topic to share, in fact I was working on one but some how I just put it on hold. In addition, I have not been able to dress up much due to my work. The workload seems to be mounting and at times I really just wanted to take a break and dress up and release the pressure. However, when the time or opportunity come, I chose to use those pockets of time to rest and relax. Maybe I must be getting lazier and dressing up no longer excite me as much? Probably a lack in motivation? Well, I guess I have too many things on my plate currently, my new work and then looking into family planning and so on. So that really zap the energy and enthusiasm out of CrossDressing...

Anyway, enough of my ranting, back to the topic. This post came in new as there were some progress along my CD journey. No, no, I am not talking about transition or taking hormones, those are seriously off my plate. There were two things that I like to share, hopefully it can help to inspire my fellow CDs who were faced with similar problems to take the bold step like me.

Removal of skin tags

What are skin tags? Skin tags are small pieces of soft, hanging skin that may have a peduncle, or stalk. They can appear anywhere on the body, but especially where skin rubs against other skin or clothing.

Yes, I have a problem with skin tags and just like in the picture (that is not my armpit), I have it on my armpit. Some may ask, it is on the armpit, nobody will see it unless I wear sleeveless. In fact, that is the reason why I seldom wear sleeveless or "show more skin" (in addition, I got broad shoulders also). I do have a set of office black dress that is sleeveless and also the 1970s to 1980s Wonder Woman costume that is bare shoulder and also some sleeveless and bare shoulder cheongsam. With the skin tags, they just make me more conscious of my dressings and my arms movement when posing and this really affect my confidence. Because of these skin tags, I dare not and could not do a clean shave of my armpit hair like how W did it. That is why, I decided to take action and went to remove it. If you search "Skin tags removal Singapore", you will find quite a few options. In fact, those clinics that remove skin tags, take it like removing warts or moles via laser. The cost really depends on the size of the skin tags. I did my skin tags removal at Bio Aesthetic. It cost like $350 for the first piece and subsequent pieces were charged at $80. I think that is how it was charged, or at least in my case.

The process was quite simple. I need to try shaving my armpit first (quite weird if you think about it, I want to remove the skin tags for easier shaving of armpit) before heading down to the clinic. Once at the clinic, they will help to clean and numb the armpit using numbing cream. After that, consultation and using of laser to remove the skin tags. The whole process took less than 2 hours and the removal process was a bit painful (yes, you will feel the stinging and burning sensation as the laser cut through the skin tags but I feel it worth it) even with the numbing cream but I find it bearable.

After the removal, I can continue my life like normal, maybe just be more conscious about the armpit area as the wounds slowly heal. I was given antiseptic cream to apply and I just apply for the first few days and that is it. The main care I need is to wash and dry the armpit area to prevent infection. To keep the armpit dry, never put powder, just wipe or "air" dry will do.

And with the removal of my skin tags from my armpit, somehow I feel more confident. I guess the next step will be to remove my armpit hair or maybe go for whitening process. Hopefully with that, I will be more daring to have more sleeveless dresses or costumes to try out next time.

Putting on Contact Lenses

I have to admit, I have small and sensitive eyes and putting on of eyeliner and eye lashes have always been a challenge when I CD. However, with more practices over time. I became better and less scare of having something around my eyes... However, I decided to take this up by a notch and wanted to explore wearing of contact lenses. All these while, I was quite lucky to keep a 6/6 eyesight and do not need to wear glasses or anything, so getting contact lenses never really crosses my mind under I begun CDing. I see how contact lenses can amplify the eyes and make them lively and big, which I feel will enhance the looks of Francesca.

So I decided to take the purge and order 2 sets of brown contact lenses from Shopee with 0 degree. In case you were wondering, why I never go to the optometrist to get a prescribed lenses. I guess I do not want to create suspicion like why will a person with near perfect eyesight want to get contact lenses. I mean, as I aged, my eyesight does deteriorate but I doubt it will be to an extend of getting prescribed contact lenses. Or maybe that is just me for been overly cautious. Anyway, there are more varieties on Shopee for me to choose from instead of the normal transparent contacts that do nothing much to enhance the eyes. However, besides just ordering contact lenses, I also ordered a few types of contact lens kits to help me to put on easily and also watch quite a few Youtube videos to teach me how to put on my contact lenses.

Once my contact lenses and the rest of the items arrived. I went to my lair to try to put it on. After a grueling two hours, I still failed to put it on as my eyelids just shut close whenever the contact lens come near the eye. I was thinking if it was because my eyes are too small and the contact lenses that I ordered is around 14mm or so, which I felt was a bit too big for my eyes. So I begun searching the internet for smaller contact lenses. W advised me to seek help from the optometrist and maybe they will help to advise if I need smaller contact lenses.

I have pretty much surrendered my fate and thought that I may never wear a contact lens in my life. So I was thinking if I should heed W advice and visit an optometrist. So I was thinking through the whole process where I failed to put on my contacts and concluded that it was my eyelid that is the problem. My eyelid will shut tight involuntarily whenever the contacts and the applicator come close. So I figured out that I needed something to hold the eyelid up. So I decided to use the most primitive method. That was to tape my eyelid up. This method may sound crude but it really helped. I used the Nexcare Sensitive Skin Tape to tape my eyelid up and use my fingers to pry out the eye bigger to allow me to put on the contact lenses. The tape really helped a little as it managed to prevent the involuntarily shutting of my eyelid when I applied the contact lenses. After a few tries, I finally succeeded!!! I was so thrilled and happy. Knowing that I can put on contact lenses has been a major milestone for me in term of my CD journey as Francesca.

So for those fellow CDs who are facing issues of putting on contact lenses, please do not give up hope. Just try a method that will work for you. Hope to be able to share some photos in the future of my new and improved Francesca. That is all. Thanks for reading and Cheers.

Make-up Tips for Beginner CrossDresser

Finally find some time to get back to blog and keep my semi-hiatus blog alive… I do apologise for the lack of updates as my work has gone into full swing and have been rather busy. Coupled with things happening in my personal life, really take a toll on my time or should I say Francesca’s time…

While writing this, I saw an incomplete post that I was drafting but left hanging there since like April. I guess I will continue to work on that when the mood comes back. What am I going to share today, well, this is a CrossDressing related website, I will talk about CD topics of course.

I am going to talk about make-up. This is not a real step-by-step procedure or workflow that you can deploy and immediately turn from a man into the other gender. There are tons of make-up resources on YouTube or social media platform that you can look it up. What I am going to share are some tips that worked for me and also address some reasons why some of the CDs still prefer to quick and dirty method of using apps such as FaceApp or PhotoShop or MeiTu to make themselves become the opposite gender…

For me, make-up can easily take up to one and a half hour as I needed more work to cover up my flaws and masculine features. I know other CDs like W who can do make-up on the car and be done within like 20 minutes… It is really a godsend for those who are born with good and nice features as they do not need as much time as those who are like me…

Anyway, I will just share the outline and stages of make-up, from preparation and to the final outcome… I will write in broad stages but will not be explaining with YouTube or pictures as you can probably find them online…

Stage 0 – Preparation of figure. For this stage, it is the preface of the whole CD experience. If you are wearing those breast form with neck, you have to put it on at this initial stage as putting it on later will just damage or smudge your make-up. It may be warm if you are using the breast form, so it will be advisable to do this in an aircon environment.

Stage 1 – Preparation of face. After preparing the figure, I will put on the hair net to pull back and hide my normal hair. After this, I will usually spend a good 10 to 15 minutes removing my unwanted facial hair on my face, be it the moustache or beard stubs, the sideburns’ stray hair and also eye brows. I will spend the time to pluck the hair out. To safe time, I will do that at home when I am free and in guy mode without anyone suspecting anything. Some CDs may prefer to shave, there is no hard or fast rule.

Stage 2 – Primer and Foundation. Not many people will use primer but primer is a preparatory product that's applied after your skin care to create an ideal canvas to hold onto whatever makeup comes afterward — like foundation, tinted moisturizer, or concealer. After the primer, I will use foundation. Try to choose a foundation that matches your skin tone, it can be one or two tones lighter or darker but it should match your “exposed” skin tone, maybe around the neck or shoulder. Currently, I am using Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless Primer 30ml and got a range of Fit Me Liquid Foundation for different skin tone that I want to achieve.

Stage 3 – It is all about the eyes. Eye shadow, Eye liner, fake eyelashes, mascara, eyebrow pencil. Usually, I will do my eyes after letting my liquid foundation dry a bit. I don’t think I mastered how to do my eyes properly as I learned from YouTube and mostly are trial-and-error. I will usually do in the order as listed above. I will do my eye shadow using the Maybelline City Mini palette. I love eye shadow as I can go crazy with the different colour combination, from fun to solemn setting all with the touch of the eye shadow. Next is eyeliner, I only go for Hypersharp Power Liner, Black eyeliner as I can have better control and it has better “traction” over the eye shadow. I have tried other eyeliner from Maybelline but so far, my favourite is still this one. Usually at this stage, I might ruin some of eye shadow as I need to peel open my eyelid for the eyeliner but it can be easily touch up later. I ever tried eyeliner first then eye shadow but the eyeliners tend to get covered over by the eye shadow. This is the confusing part as I tend to switch between putting on fake eyelashes first then mascara. For mascara, I don’t really have a preferred one but for fake eyelashes glue, I swear by Sephora Collection False Eyelash Glue (7ml) as they are tacky and really does it job. Putting on fake eyelashes has always been an issue for me. So if you don’t get it right the first time, it is fine. Last but not least, eyebrow pencil. For this, I also got no preference as my eyebrow are quite thick, at times I just leave it as it is even though I do trimmed a bit once a while.

Stage 4 – It is all about the lips… Lip stick and lip gloss. For me, I always prefer conventional lip stick to those liquid lipstick. Maybe it is a mindset thingy but when was putting on the conventional lip stick, it has a sensual feel as I slowly slip into feminine character. To make the lip puff up and glossy, I used the Barry M Cosmetics That's Swell Plumping Lip Gloss. It really make the lip stand out.

Stage 5 – Blusher, Contouring and touch up. This is the final and last step. For me, I will usually just apply the blusher and touch up but if I want to “appear” slimmer, I will use the Maybelline V-Face Duo Powder. However, I think there is a newer product in the market that I have yet to try. For blusher, I use the Maybelline Fit Me Blush series. There are a few tones you can choose from. As for touching up, it usually involved some concealer or to take care of eye bags issue or touch up the nose or eye area.

Stage Cleaning up – After all the fun and glamour and selfie, time to clean up… For cleaning up, I will usually use wet wipes to clean up my face, lips and eyes. After that, I will use either the Maybelline Micellar Water or Sephora Original Triple Action Cleansing Micellar Water and also the Maybelline Clean Express Lip and Eye Makeup Remover with cotton pads. No hard and fast rule for cleaning. Just make sure that you clean thoroughly.

There you go, my steps and list of make-up that I used for my CrossDressing session. I know make-up is troublesome but the steps taken to transform from a guy to a lady is definitely worth it. This process or journey that build and get me into a feminine character, transform me not just physically but also mentally as I see myself becoming more and more prettier as the make-up goes onto the face. All I have in my mind was, what is the look that I want and I just want to look beautiful. Hope those CDs who are uncertain, just give it a try. Enjoy the process while you are at it.

PS : I am not advertising for Maybelline or Sephora but these are the brands that I am using and really pleased with the results.

Sorry for the lack of updates...

Sorry for the lack of updates on my blog as I have been busy these while and hardly got any time to CD...

Really feel like taking some time off the CD arena actually... That feeling of wanting to purge and stay off CrossDressing is back due to the long hiatus and also I having to focus on other things in life that kept me occupied and suppressed the urge to CD...

I did have some inspirations on what to type but those thoughts just slipped my mind... Sigh... Maybe I am just tired or suffering the post effect of COVID (yup, I caught the virus, but I am well again)...

Sorry for the rant but will be off for some time. Thanks for dropping by and I do apologize for an inactive blog...

My CD Journey (Part 14) - My Short Walk of Fame [My first Dress Out Experience]

Supposed to post this blog before the end of last year and now is already the 2nd month into 2022. I do apologise for the lack of update as I am quite busy with work and finally managed to squeeze some time to work on this… I was working on this post halfway before I got suck into work and busyness… Anyway, here goes…

I have achieved yet another milestone for Francesca… I finally stepped out of my closet and into the public… Well, for 15 minutes or so… Even though It was just a short moment but it was quite an experience and I learned a lot that day around dressing out… Going to share my first dress out experience. Hopefully I can inspire others to do it also.

Before going into the details, I have to set the context that ended with me dressing out for the first time. Around the start of December 2021, my CD idol W, messaged me to arrange for another meetup session at my lair on 26th December, which is just one day after Christmas. I thought it was an excellent idea as I can organise a mini X’mas celebration with another CrossDresser. Quite a refreshing idea, so I reserved the date and set everything in motion. Luckily this time round, I have gotten the essential sorted out during the last meet-up, so I do not need to get anything such as a proper chair or cutleries.

In order to celebrate this festive season, I gotten a log cake beforehand and had apportion some for my personal consumption at home to avoid suspicion from my wife. I claimed that I am meeting up with a group of friends to celebrate Christmas, so I got the log cake for them.

On the day of the meet-up, I brought the log cake and went straight to my lair and kept it in the refrigerator outside my unit. This time round, luckily there is no hiccups or sudden visit by my “neighbours”, so I can CD in peace. We arranged to meet around 3:30pm and I arrived at my lair much earlier, so I got more time to get myself ready for the meet-up.

Everything went quite well that day as I was not stressed out by the presence of my “neighbour” like the other time, my commercial unit was quite quiet for a Sunday afternoon, which I find it rather conducive for me to dress up. W was a bit late that day but she was so fast to get herself ready for the meetup.

Much like the other time, I waited patiently for W’s arrival, it was much easier to coordinate as she had already visited my lair before. So when W arrived, I just bring in the log cake from the refrigerator and we proceed to have our “high-tea” session in my lair. I was helping W with some photoshoots by setting up the lights while she did a fashion change by pairing different clothing and hosiery to match the festive mood. I must say, W has a good collection of clothing and hosiery.

After all that, we both sat down and chatted and W proposed that we should try going out into the public. I was quite reluctant initially but seeing how W is such a sport and considering that it was a Sunday and the area of my commercial unit area is quite deserted, I decided to step out… For this once… As I head out with W, my heart was at my mouth as it is pounding so hard. I was really nervous as I was scare that my big build will give me away as a CrossDresser. However, W assured that there was no one around and it was all fine.

We walked to the lift lobby but I was feeling really nervous as there is a camera around that area. However, W put my mind at ease that we were both wearing face mask and with our dressing, no one can tell. As we got into the lift, I was looking at the reflection and realised that with a face mask, my wig and dressing did make me more feminine…

We both walked out to a nice area and we started taking wefies to commemorate my first time dressing out in public. While we were doing that, I realised that there was a lady walking towards our direction. I really panicked but W was all natural and treated it like nothing happened. Indeed, the lady just walked past us, minding her own business. We both just laughed and I told W that we should go back to my lair as the heels were “killing” me. It was the first time I really worn heels and walked around and it is no easy feat. I really wondered how ladies do that all the time…

After going back to the lair, it was getting a bit late for me as I did not want my wife to grow suspicious. W bid her farewell to me and she went out by herself while I started to clean up. After cleaning up and packing, time for me to head back home. However, to my surprise, my face mask was caked with cosmetics. I was really shocked but luckily for me, I got spare mask in my car. So I hurried to my car, “masking” my nose and mouth with my hand until I got to my car and took out a new face mask. Thankfully for me, it was quite a quiet Sunday and there was no one around.

And with that, it ended my second meetup with W and also my first but short dress out experience… A few things I have learned. Firstly, walking in heels is not easy and will need a lot of practice. I really wondered how the other CDs managed this, I was contemplating for get heels that are lower (maybe around 3cm) so that it will be easier for me to walk in. Next, I also learned to stand by some spare face masks in my lair in case similar things even happen again. The big question to end it all, will I dare to dress out again… Well, the truth is, I was indeed planning to dress out one of these nights for a short while but my sanity or maybe was it my fear that always dissuade me otherwise. Maybe what I need is courage and a little nudge from W. Haha… Maybe next time, I really hope to be able to dress out, drive to a secluded place and walk for a while, just maybe… Just to share the photo taken during that session. Enjoy and cheers.

The Women's Charter (CrossDresser's Dilemma of Coming Out)

Finally get some time to work on my blog. Cannot believe that I could post around 9 to 10 blog posts in November but hardly any time in December to work on one. It is quite unusual as December is a period where things start to wind down in many organisations and people start clearing their annual leaves. Anyway, I guess the festive season bug caught me too as I do feel kind of unmotivated to do anything.

Anyway, what has happened over the last few weeks is quite interesting. Isabelle approached me to ask if she can link her blog to mine for my article on Storage and Commercial Spaces for CD. I was more than happy and thrilled by her request as it shows that my blog can be a useful resource for the CD community. I agreed and saw a sudden surge of visitors to my humble blog. Hopefully my blog is kept up to standard. With that said, that means I must work harder to produce more blog posts of good quality to help the CrossDressing Community as a useful resource for them to turn to.

With that said, I do have one topic on mind, but it may not be a popular one… This blog post is going to talk about The Women’s Charter in Singapore. Why did I decided to write about The Women’s Charter? Well unfortunately, CDs are not covered under this Act but I believe that transgenders, mainly trans women are protected under this statute. The reason for this post is for those CrossDressers who are married and are faced the dilemma or predicament about coming out to their wives about their CD tendencies.

As we know, CrossDressing is usually frowned upon in Asia context and culture as it is associated with negative connotation such as gay, pervert, abnormal or crazy. However, a lot of CDs I know are normal straight males who just like to dress up as female as a form of mental and emotional release or getaway. Some are married with children, some got girlfriends, and some are looking for their better half of opposite gender.

For crossdressers who are married, some came clean with their better half before tying the knot. For others, they may be like Isabelle case whereby the crossdresser revealed the truth after getting married. Coming out to their spouses having them to accept their CrossDressing “hobby” is NEVER an easy task and run the risk of ruining the relationship and face the wrath of THE WOMEN’S CHARTER.

What is The Women’s Charter and what is so scary about it?

For short, The Women's Charter is an Act of the Singaporean Parliament passed in 1961. The Act was designed to improve and protect the rights of females in Singapore and to guarantee greater legal equality for women in legally sanctioned relationships. If you read the Act, it is filled with bombastic and legal sounding terms that no commoner can understand. Luckily for us, I found a summary on SingaporeLegalAdvice.com and the summary is as below.

I like to bring your attention to Point 10, which talk about divorce. For legal grounds to divorce, there has to be an “irretrievable breakdown” of the marriage. This is the sole ground of divorce. In order to show an irretrievable breakdown of the marriage, you have to prove at least one of 4 legally-defined facts. The 4 facts that can be used to obtain a divorce in Singapore are:

Adultery

Unreasonable behaviour

Desertion

Separation

For number 2, the grounds for divorce includes “One party has behaved in a way that the other cannot be reasonably expected to continue living with him or her”, which can be termed as Unreasonable Behaviour.

For unreasonable behaviour, A has to show that B has behaved in such a way that A cannot reasonably be expected to live with B.

What constitutes unreasonable behaviour is subjective. That is to say, what are the actions that are unreasonable to you? Some examples include:

Violence

Constant late nights

Refusal to socialise

Drug addiction

Compulsive gambling habits

Deprivation of sex

Working too many hours

The list is not exhaustive. Unreasonable behaviour is an easier fact to use for an uncontested divorce, as B does not have to admit to the behaviour. This is in contrast to adultery which has to be proven, and this can be embarrassing. It is unlikely that there will be consent to divorce for reason of adultery. Many a time, this is the reason cited for CD divorce…

And in Singapore law, all thanks to The Women’s Charter, looking at Points 12 and 13, the men (or CDs) will be subjected to division of matrimonial assets upon divorce and/or pay maintenance to his wife upon divorce, separation or annulment of marriage, which can be quite costly...

Why am I bringing all these points? I am not trying to advocate divorce or asking CDs to stay single and not to get married, or not getting hitched and probably turn gay in the near future. My main intention is to highlight all these points to consider as I have heard of sad stories of divorces and broken relationships after the CrossDressers either come out to their wives or was caught crossdressing. It was a dear price to pay…

How can we balance our CrossDressing “hobby” and married life? There is no easy and quick answer to this question as all couples are different. Communication, understanding, compromises and love may be the best answer but I also do not have a solution to this as I am also caught in this web of emotional struggle between both my egos at times… Probably this can be another more personal topic for me to talk about next time.

Back to the point, what can a married (or attached) CrossDressers do? I am no expert but here are my personal thoughts of 4 possible scenarios.

1. Coming clean and Coming out, acceptance by spouse (BEST)

This is a daring leap of faith. If you know your wife’s personality well and can gauge her temper and reaction, you can do some groundwork in preparation for coming out of the closet. It will be good to know what are those red flags and trigger points of a CD that she cannot accept and try to avoid those or have a walkaround for those. Or maybe you can be like Isabelle (read all about how she come out to her wife here) and come out and hope for acceptance from your better half. There will be compromises and it will take a lot of communication and assurance, but this is the most favourable outcome. This really depends on the significant others as the ball of acceptance is in their court…

2. Coming out or got caught when CDing, no compromise by spouse (WORST)

I have heard of a few cases where the CDs come clean with their spouses and did not end too well… Despite that love should be unconditional, at times, there are some points where women cannot accept men who dressed in female clothes. If you are caught CDing, I guess the best is to confess and say why you CD and see if your better half is willing to accept the reasons. We cannot expect them to accept even though when they are supposed to accept the other person as a whole, the male ego and the CD ego, it is all very subjective… This is the worst case scenario and we want to avoid it at all cost…

3. Give up CrossDressing totally (HARDEST)

If you are serious about CrossDressing and also about your marriage, this will be the toughest decision to make. There will be purges and promises that you must keep. Once you chose this path, never look back. Just kill off your alter ego and bury it. No matter how much you want to get back, just dismiss that thought and tell yourself, CrossDressing is just a hobby. After that, pick up another hobby or activity that can help you to keep your mind occupied and off CrossDressing. Or find activities or hobbies that you can do with your wife and family, that might help to alleviate that urge to CD…

4. Remind closet and keep it a secret (POPULAR)

I guess this is the most popular choice as we just need to keep our CD hobby from our spouses and never to let them find out. However, I do know of some couples who do not really keep secret from each other. Besides, the best way for a relationship to grow stronger is through open communication. The way I see it, you can take CrossDressing as an “ex-gf” or “ex-relationship” that you do not wish to share with your wife. To each their own choices. Notwithstanding, you must weigh the consequences about telling the truth and possibly facing the fury of THE WOMEN’S CHARTER vs keeping it a secret and “live longer”… Which is a better option? That been said, keeping mum about has its downsides also. Firstly, some CDs like me, have to use a storage space to keep our CD stashes so that our partners will not find out, that is going to cost money monthly. Next, squeezing time out to CD and avoiding suspicion from your better half is always a walk on tight rope and not easy. It also run the risks of been exposed if you are not careful.

Finally completed this post, I do apologise as this post is a bit long. I hope that I have shared some good thoughts and sufficient insights with my fellow CrossDressers and also bring you all through The Women’s Charter for you to consider. There is no hard and fast rule for coming out and be truthful with your significant other about your CD habits. Just think through carefully before you do anything. At the end of the day, just choose a path and outcome that you can live with. All the best and cheers.

My CD Journey (Part 13) - Meeting one of my CD Idols [Meetup at my Secret Lair ]

Oops, I did it again... Never though I will not have the courage to host or invite another CD to my secret lair, but still... I did... It just happened just over the weekend but the whole meetup was so eventful and memorable, and I wished to record this as vividly as I can remember. From my thoughts and feelings, to preparation and actual meetup. This meetup was with one of my CD idols, I will just use "W" to name her. I know W from Facebook and Instagram, I think I mentioned her in one of my previous post before.

I messaged W some time in September this year on Facebook, hoping to be able to invite her to grace my lair, like how I did an open house with another CD the last time round. I extended my invitation to her as a reach out to fellow CrossDressers so as to widen my CD social circle, and also hopefully, to learn more from her about dressing out. To me, W is one of my CD idols because she is so pretty and daring. She dressed out as a female, took a lot of photos outdoors, went to a clothing store to try out female dress and she even dined in a restaurant in her CD mode. That is so cool!!!

Anyway, back in September, I was still at my old lair site, thus much of my plan of inviting W over was nothing more than just a thought for the future days. Alas, the BIG move happened, and I was forced to move to my new current place. After I have settled in, I feel that it will be good to hold another open house to have some CDs to come over to visit my new location, and get some ideas on how to improve my lair. Remembering my invitation to W, I decided to keep to my word and invited her over to grace my new place. I messaged her on Messenger and I was in awe when she agreed to my invitation, so we fixed the date on last Sunday (28th Nov) afternoon at around 4pm.

On the day of the meetup, I was really excited as it was like once in a blue moon when I meetup with another CD and what’s more, meeting up with my CD idol. Around 12 noon, I told my wife that I am meeting a friend to go out and will not be home for dinner before heading out. After I left home, I rushed down to IKEA to get a foldable chair and cushion as I only got a wooden foldable chair in my lair and that is for me. The next best thing for visitors to sit on, is a 3-steps wooden ladder, and that is not a proper setup to host my guest. After I gotten the needed furniture, I rushed to another shopping mall nearby to get some cakes, drinks and partyware for this event before reaching my lair at around 1:45pm. Feeling all excited, I did not feel hungry even though I never had my lunch that day.

After I reached my lair, I did not dress up immediately, but I was trying to get ready my place for hosting my guest. I put the cakes and drinks into the refrigerator and went to get some water from the pantry area in case my guest wanted some hot beverages. Just when I came back to the rented unit after I collected the water, I was in shocked. The glass doors to my rental unit was wide open and the common area was lit. Apparently, my “neighbour” who rented the room next to mine, came back with his family to settle something as I could see them hanging out at their rented room’s door area, chatting with someone inside the room. I thought to myself, my plan to meetup with W was foiled.

I was disappointed and thought of calling off the meetup initially… However, not wanting to let W down and go back on my words, I still decided to go ahead with the meetup as per scheduled. I looked at my watch, it was only like 2pm and I was praying real hard that my “neighbour” won’t stay around for too long… I really wished that they would leave soon so that I won’t need to call off the meetup and appear like I was pulling a fast one on W, especially when it was our first meetup. Nonetheless, not wanting to leave things to chance, I still decided to remove the cakes and drinks from the fridge in case they stick around longer than I hoped. I was preparing for the worst, formulating what to do if my “neighbour” is still around during the meetup time. Since the glass door was wide open, that meant I do not need to open for W, and she can simply walk into the unit. All I need to do is to open the door to my lair and let her in. That seemed like a plan for the worst-case scenario. However, that did not really settle my racing heart down and my mood to dress up was affected actually…

Notwithstanding, I messaged W and told her about the situation and she told me not to be stressed. I tried to put myself at ease and began with my face preparation for make-up. While in the midst of doing that, I could hear that my “neighour” leaving the unit. That was a much needed relief, thank goodness. I went on to put my breast and hip forms and continued with the make-up. W messaged me when she was done with her make-up and she was on her way while I was still in the middle of applying my make-up. She had arrived earlier and I was still not ready, so, she went around the building area to explore and took photos before coming up to my unit.

I must be really nervous that day as I had given her the wrong address, but luckily, the address I had given her was around the corner. I told her to walk straight up, and I could hear the footsteps of her heels approaching. I saw her at the corner, and I waved for her to come over. We finally met in person!!! W was so gorgeous in real life, I was exhilarated.

I invited W into my small humble lair, I showed her around and explain to her my wares (both personal and CDs stuffs). I gave her some of my small size CD dresses that I bought from TaoBao, all these are my impulse or mistake buys because I underestimated my size most of the time… So, W tried out the clothing I gave her, and they fitted on her quite nicely. Well, maybe it is just a tiny bit bigger but those clothing matched her fashion sense and dressing style. She has the ability to bring out her personality and she really knows how to pose for photo taking. She tried on the dresses while I took photos for her when she was done. After trying on the dresses, we sat down, chit chat and have cakes and drinks like two ladies having tea, just that it is in the privacy of my lair. It was quite a fun and surreal experience.

The chit-chatting session was so captivating and interesting, we covered a lot of topics, mainly revolving about CD stuff and so on. W was sharing her dress out experience and so on, while I shared about my lair setting experience. I found out more about her and I must say, she is not only a passable CD, but also simply amazing in a lot of aspect. We shared many things in common. This just increased my admiration for her. It has been such an unforgettable meetup experience.

Unfortunately, every party has to come to an end. It is time for her to go back and time for me to pack up and go home too. I must say, it has been an enjoyable meetup session and I was glad to meet W and get to know her in person instead as an online persona. All I can say is, it is momentous day for me.

I was still contemplating about sharing the photos that W and I took because I try to avoid posting photos of myself or other CDs on my blog. However, she has given me the permission to blog about this meetup session, I feel that it is only fair if I share the photos that we took during the session. Maybe just one... (which is heavily post-processed)
